Our passion is to see pre-school and elementary school students experience the wonder of God and be drawn into discovering how He touches every aspect of their lives. As they become eager to discover more about the love of God, a passionate faith will grow!! We also long to help children and their parents “together” to experience Christ and the Church as a family. No one has more influence on a child than a parent.
Each Sunday begins with small group times in each age group: preschool-K-lst, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th grades. Ending this time, we have them together as a whole for praise and worship music continued with our Bible story presentation. The curriculum is engaging, fun, comprehensive, but simple. Each Sunday your children receive God-time sheets that are to help with the parent child connection. Be sure to read them with your children during the week. It only takes 5 minutes. By reading this with your children they begin to create a wonderful habit of spending daily time with God. Attached to the God-time sheet is a Fridge-door card that has the memory verse for the month and the virtue we are teaching. Each month begins with a new virtue and memory verse.
Our activities correspond with our adult service at The Way beginning at 10:30 a.m. We only have an hour, so you won’t want to be late! In fact, and early arrival time is perfect to sign your children in at the front desk, and our hosts can settle your children in with their small group leaders.
